Here at kiteboarding.com we are proud to offer a variety of lessons in Corpus Christi, Texas. From beginner lessons to learn kite safety and general riding to advanced hourly lessons to learn new tricks. Corpus Christi, Texas offers steady warm winds almost all year around (average is about 280 days of the year), and with plenty of hotels to choose from Corpus Christi serves as a perfect kiteboarding destination for any kiteboarder. From March to November no wetsuit necessary. We've been teaching for over 9 years, and have perfected the lesson experience. Come see for yourself and learn with us today.

3 Hour Beginner Lesson:
Now that you have become comfortable flying a trainer kite, it is time to being your kiteboard lessons with an instructor. Our professional instruction is one on one, not a class format. This ensures you get the most out of your time and your money, you get all the safety and practical instruction to learn this most amazing sport quickly and safely. This 3 hour beginner lesson includes all kite gear specific for your size and weight.

Hourly Refresher Courses:
So you took a lesson already, but maybe it was a while ago or maybe you're still just not 100% comfortable practicing on your own yet. That's ok, you don't need pay for another 3 Hour course, we can schedule for a 1 or 2 hour refresher course. Our instructors just love teaching, and their ultimate goal is to see your ride and make sure you feel comfortable and safe kiting without them. We're here to help you, so make sure you take advantage of that.

Hourly Advanced Lessons:
Now you're completely competent kiteboarding, but you want to kick it up a notch. You want to learn some impressive tricks to keep your mind and body coming back for more? That's great news, because we have experienced PASA ceritifed instructors to work on anything you to learn. From jumping and transitions to board-offs, wake style, and surf style riding. Continue your progression with guided instruction so you can learn new tricks quicker.

Jeff has been involved with all facets of kiteflying starting with design of sport kites moving then to buggy racing and it's latest reincarnation - kitesurfing. Jeff has taken a real role in the Corpus Christi kitesurfing community.

Brent Reagan (Assistant Manager/Shipping Manager/Sales)
Brent moved down to Corpus in 2007 and after getting used to the seagulls began to quickly progress his kiteboarding skills and increase his knowledge of all things kiteboarding. Now he spends most of his time making sure your orders are right, shipments are safe and on time, and you're happy and in-the-loop with everything we do.

Nate Antonetz (Graphic Designer/Marketing Manger/Sales)
Nate joined the Kiteboarding.com team in January of 2010 and immediately began to learn kiteboarding. His philosphy was that it would add another dimension to his surfing. If he's not at his computer or in the gym, he's out riding strapless in the Gulf Coast waves. He works hard everydya making sure you know about the newest gear and deals.

Jeremy Leoni (Head Instructor/Repair Team/Sales)
Jeremy was recruited to join the instructor staff and soon became the Head Instuctor once his passion and love of kiting became clear. Jeremy's desire and drive to continue to get better at kiting and riding are second to none. If there is wind, you can bet that Jeremy will on the water learning something new.

The Airush Skim board stands alone as the first of a new generation of kite specific skims that combine a skim rocker, hybrid outline and wave inspired rails to create the quintessential strapless board for light-wind cruising, small wave bashing and skate and surf inspired freestyle. The combination of a wide parallel outline, pivotal tail and late entry rocker allow for an early planning board that is very versatile and easy to use. The Airush Skim features a unique option of un-drilled fin inserts that can be set up in multiple configurations. With a concave skate inspired 3-D EVA deck pad, the Airush Skim board leads the pack in the strapless revolution.

After its first year in the market, the 2011 Airush Surf Skim stands alone as the first of a new generation of kite specific skim boards that combines a skim rocker, hybrid outline and wave inspired rails to create the quintessential strapless board for light-wind cruising, small wave bashing and skate and surf inspired freestyle.
The combination of a wide parallel outline, pivotal tail and late entry rocker allow for an early planing board that is very versatile and easy to use. Also doubling as a wake surfboard and true skimboard, this versatile board will allow you to have fun in any conditions.

GRABRAILS
Ergonomic grab rails run from the nose of the board to 20 cm off the tail of the board offering maximum grip for airs and ease of handling.

RAILS
Hard edges in the tail for perfect water release and early planning tapering to rolled surf rail forward of the midpoint and tapering to a hard rail on the nose.
ROCKER
Flat rocker in the tail section ensures early planning with a slight nose rise for forgiveness in the waves and chop.

TRACTION
A unique multi-density traction pad and arch bar system creates a concave platform that is stable, and easy to ride. BOTTOM SHAPE
Single deep concave bottom to plane up early. Provides maximum edge control without fins and adds forgiveness through chop.
OUTLINE
A Fairly parallel outline makes the board stable, early to plane and easy to use. A classic skim pin tail makes the board very pivotal on a wave and allows for incredible upwind ability. A wide nose allows the board to easily be ridden backwards and provides a stable platform for stomping big tricks.

FINS
The Surf Skim features a unique option of undrilled fin inserts set up in a thruster configuration with a slight toe-in on the forward fins and can be set up in multiple configurations: • No Fins: Loose and pivotal for skate style shove it tricks, shallow water, and shore break • Single Fin: Still loose with just enough tracking for forgiveness. Ideal wake surf set up • Twin Fin: Tracks well and but more pivotal than the thruster setup • Thruster: Offers stability and surfboard control and feel Note: Fins are sold separately

SKIMTECH The Skimtech construction is exclusive to the SKC Surf Skim and combines lightweight core with unidirectional and standard glass utilizing Crosslink ABS and various sandwich technologies.
