Here at kiteboarding.com we are proud to offer a variety of lessons in Corpus Christi, Texas. From beginner lessons to learn kite safety and general riding to advanced hourly lessons to learn new tricks. Corpus Christi, Texas offers steady warm winds almost all year around (average is about 280 days of the year), and with plenty of hotels to choose from Corpus Christi serves as a perfect kiteboarding destination for any kiteboarder. From March to November no wetsuit necessary. We've been teaching for over 9 years, and have perfected the lesson experience. Come see for yourself and learn with us today.

3 Hour Beginner Lesson:
Now that you have become comfortable flying a trainer kite, it is time to being your kiteboard lessons with an instructor. Our professional instruction is one on one, not a class format. This ensures you get the most out of your time and your money, you get all the safety and practical instruction to learn this most amazing sport quickly and safely. This 3 hour beginner lesson includes all kite gear specific for your size and weight.

Hourly Refresher Courses:
So you took a lesson already, but maybe it was a while ago or maybe you're still just not 100% comfortable practicing on your own yet. That's ok, you don't need pay for another 3 Hour course, we can schedule for a 1 or 2 hour refresher course. Our instructors just love teaching, and their ultimate goal is to see your ride and make sure you feel comfortable and safe kiting without them. We're here to help you, so make sure you take advantage of that.

Hourly Advanced Lessons:
Now you're completely competent kiteboarding, but you want to kick it up a notch. You want to learn some impressive tricks to keep your mind and body coming back for more? That's great news, because we have experienced PASA ceritifed instructors to work on anything you to learn. From jumping and transitions to board-offs, wake style, and surf style riding. Continue your progression with guided instruction so you can learn new tricks quicker.

Jeff has been involved with all facets of kiteflying starting with design of sport kites moving then to buggy racing and it's latest reincarnation - kitesurfing. Jeff has taken a real role in the Corpus Christi kitesurfing community.

Brent Reagan (Assistant Manager/Shipping Manager/Sales)
Brent moved down to Corpus in 2007 and after getting used to the seagulls began to quickly progress his kiteboarding skills and increase his knowledge of all things kiteboarding. Now he spends most of his time making sure your orders are right, shipments are safe and on time, and you're happy and in-the-loop with everything we do.

Nate Antonetz (Graphic Designer/Marketing Manger/Sales)
Nate joined the Kiteboarding.com team in January of 2010 and immediately began to learn kiteboarding. His philosphy was that it would add another dimension to his surfing. If he's not at his computer or in the gym, he's out riding strapless in the Gulf Coast waves. He works hard everydya making sure you know about the newest gear and deals.

Jeremy was recruited to join the instructor staff and soon became the Head Instuctor once his passion and love of kiting became clear. The NEW Slingshot Rally (2012) is the answer for every kiter looking for the performance requirements of a traditional "C" shape kite but more of the depower and range of a dedicated Delta kite. Slingshot Comp Stick Control Bar:
The NEW 2012 Comp Stick control bar eliminates the use of pulleys on the bar and features the NEW patent pending Center Safety System (CSS) which has a new 2012 soft grip and slightly larger diameter to stop forearm fatigue and brings 100% depower safety and convenience below the bar. Slingshot is the only brand to offer complete safety in a 4 line package for added benefit. NEW features such as the Surefire Spinner, Auto Indexing Chicken Loop, Active Stopper Ball and Push Up Centre Safety System makes it the first choice for freestyle riders who demand more. The clean and uncluttered 4 line configuration of the Comp Stick Control Bar also allows for easy and speedy set up.

Giving low end power, responsive pivotal turning, endless lofty hangtime, effortless relauncha and unbelieveable range matched with C-kite predictable power and uncompromised stability.

Surf Proof Seams:
Surf Proof seams makes the kite stronger and more durable. When the kite is dropped in the surf or the shore dump it will withstand the punishment. The seams really tighten up the canopy, which lead to better flying characteristic's, holds its shape better in high gusty winds, and prevents blowouts when dropped in heavy surf.

3 strut design:
Giving a solid feel through all areas of the wind window together with unmatched stability. Maximizes canopy shape integrity through the turns and kiteloops.

CFI Attachment Points:
You can adjust the rear line pigtails (3 options) so that you can ADD bar pressure. If you’re coming from a C-shape kite you will know all about bar pressure and how important it is to be able to feel where the kite is in the sky without having to look at it all the time. The bar pressure adjustment tabs will also help beginners as they will be able to feel where the kite is when in the air. Unlike some brands where the bar is super light and you have to keep an eye on the kite at all times.

Mark Cloth Reinforced Trailing Edge:

Does Everything Well

I love my Rally for surf riding and freestyle too. It has a quick response, good low end power and enough depower to work well in the surf. It's not a dedicated surf kite like the Reo, or the Drifter, but for versatility in conditions I love this kite.
