What we have say about the North Reach: North Kites all around/free ride 3 strut kite. The 2024 Reach is the kite that you Reach for when you have multiple options and want to do it all. The Reach is a quick turning kite that wants to move, the power delivery is smooth and when you pull the bar all the way in, you have more power available than you expect given the light bar pressure. While the turning speed is quick, the kite is also very responsive, meaning that as soon as you want it to turn, it is moving, quickly. When boosting, the kite has good hang time and with the quick responsiveness you can land soft, fast or has hard as you want. What we have say about the Raptor: The Raptor is still a rocket-ship for the speedsters out there who don't want something too testing for the knees. It is now easier and more fluid. It's light, but still a relatively firm ride in the freeride spectrum. That won't stop advanced riders being happy to shred all day long on it. The fins do a good job of making the Raptor feel quite maneuverable and responsive even through they are quite deep, due to the fact that they complement the board's rocker-line and shape. CF boards are always exceptional for build-quality. We're continually impressed

What we have to say about the Acton: The Acton probably has the softest flex pattern of all the Crazyfly boards we tested which makes it incredibly forgiving and playful. With a fairly standard rocker, the Allround is very efficient in the water and felt fast upwind while the bottom concave and 5.0 fins gave it a solid amount of bite when tracking on edge, riding flat, or on rail-to-rail carves. The Acton really locks down an edge while loading giving this board great pop for an all around board. The Acton's construction is designed to fit a wide range of riders from beginner through to intermediate.

What we have to say about the Fusion 5: For a carbon board, there is a surprising amount of feeling under foot and it is not too abusive to your knees. It tracks easily through chop without slapping or spraying. The grip initiates turns and transitions very well, and there's enough pop behind your back foot for loading up. With all of that said, this board is not fatiguing at all. It is a very easy to ride board that won't hold you back from pushing your limits. The Fusion can also be used with boots as a great freestyle option. The tip flex would work well for freestyle and wakestyle.

What we have to say about the Ozone Code: The Code V3 is a performance freeride board with a rapid riding speed from the get-go. The board seems very solid and grips tight to the water. This speed and grip transfers to some effortless upwind riding, and we were pleased to find this in choppy wavy waters as well as the butter waters. Loading up the CodeV2 for some air time you will be surprised at the amount of speed and power it can deliver. It allows for some truly impressive boosts with great control. The board is lightweight enough to throw around during board-off tricks and even features a grab recess to help you keep hold of it. The progressive flex provides a stable platform to power you out of those sketchy landings. The Code V2 is fast, fun and a fantastic option for those riders who want only the best for their personal riding development.

What we have to say about the Duotone Select: The Select SLS is Duotone's progressive freeride, all-around board. This board has a little softer flex pattern than the Jaime and features slightly pulled in tips that give it a really user-friendly and playful feel. The SLS is very light, incredibly durable, and noticeably smoother and more responsive this year .The Select will eat up any chop for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Super soft on the knees for landing those big air jumps. If you're looking to push your limits hard then the Select SLS is a great choice for you.

What we have to say about the Naish Motion: The Motion is a high performance freeride board that has a fairly lively flex pattern which makes for an easy load and pop and forgiving landings. It is a nice balance between a loose skate feel and locked in grippy upwind track feeling. We liked how the Motion turned and carved in and around small surf and chop. The Motion has some impressive pop when you load it up, and it responds well to more aggressive riding. The rocker gives you a locked in controlled feel when you come in fast from a big trick.

The Orbit is a purpose built big air kite that excels at big air with some great hang time. It's stability and ease of use make it a no brainer for anyone looking to go big. Also a good kite for all around riding, the Orbit has medium to light bar pressure and turns rather quick for a 5 strut big air kite. A favorite among the shop riders here, the Orbit is a great kite no matter what you want to do with it.

The Dash is a C-kite for the masses but with high performance freeride qualities.

What we have say about the North Pulse: We were unable to get a ton of time on this kite in good winds, but from what we winds we did get I can tell you that the pulse will definitely have you pulse pumping. It is a very fast kite in both low and high winds. The power delivery is extremely comfortable and consistent. The kite has a tremendous amount of pop with adequate line slack to give anyone the confidence to excel in any level of their unhooked progression. The Pulse is the ultimate in performance freestyle. It will boost and mega loop with ease.

What we have to say about the Core GTS: The Core GTS is an intermediate to advanced freeride kite. The GTS is pretty much the ultimate all-terrain performance twin-tip machine. The wider wingtips make kite looping a tad slower but super smooth. This makes the kite very consistent in the delivery of power all across the window. Bar pressure seems to be on the lighter side so you can do kite loops for days without coming off the water. The kite is extremely solid in the sky, feeling very supportive at all times and in all conditions. In all disciplines of freestyle riding, the GTS shines.

What we have say about the Slingshot UFO:The UFO is a shop favorite for hydrofoiling. It is one of the lightest kites available and it performs very well in very light winds. The UFO has good power delivery and surprisingly good relaunch. The UFO is not a beginner kite and is a good choice for the experienced Hydrofoiler looking for the lightest kite they can find. With the no strut design, the UFO also packs up smaller than anything else on the list and would make a great travel hydrofoiling kite.

What we have say about the Naish Boxer: The Boxer is more focused on its low-end efficiency than top-end comfort. The light weight makes the Boxer relaunch in very little wind with ease. The precision and sheeting power is especially nice when sending the kite overhead during a tack or any transition manouver, it gives plenty of time time to move your feet and focus on the foil. This kite is quick, easy to control and generates power quickly. It has a light and lively feel at the fingertips. The Boxer is the ultimate kite for underpowered riding and foiling.

Great upwind performance due to the flat arc design, and an efficient high lift airfoil section. The lightweight design translates to incredible low-end performance. The handling is direct and responsive which allows you to put the kite where you need it. It has exceptional drift for wave riding.

The newest version has drastically changed the flight characteristics in all of the best ways. What we have to say about the Duotone Mono: The Duotone Mono is a light and nimble single strut kite that excels at drifting and staying in the air in light winds. It is a great kite choice for hydrofoiling or light wing riding (in the larger sizes). The mono is built exceptionally well and comes built with the standard Duotone Airport inflation valve and one pump system.

What we have to say about the CORE XLITE: Core has delivered a single strut kite that meets any Core riders expectations. With lightweight materials, supreme build quality, Core really came through with this hydrofoil specific kite. It is fun to fly, delivers the power exceptionally well and feels wonderfully light in the air.

What we have to say about the Crazyfly Infinity: This is Crazyfly's first hydrofoil specific kite. Double struts close to the wing tips deliver reactive turning and easy relaunch at the weight of a single strut, while an strutless mid-section mimics the characteristics of a no strut kite. In our first experiences with the Infinity, we found this kite to be very stable and lofty. It has decent drift and responsiveness downwind, but it's pull and go power and lift allows it perform best as a freeride foil kite.

What we have say about the Soul 2: Whatever good things you've heard about this kite... They're all true. The Soul 2 is an absolute blast to ride. If you're looking for peak performance and the easiest transition from inflatable kites to ram air, the Soul 2 is the one. Incredibly stable, fast turning, great upwind drive and lift. Literally no complaints with this kite. The mixer system is fully adjustable. The Kite is almost always relaunchable, we've been stuck on the water for half an hour in a lul and it still managed to relaunch. Definitely a shop favorite.

What we have say about the Hyperlink: Can't make up your mind if you want to ride land or water? With the Hyperlink, you can do either. Snow, landboard, buggy, open the cells... Close the cells and take it out on the water. The Hyperlink is definitely the closest to an inflatable in it's handling characteristics in comparisson to the other Ozone foil kites. Quick turning, good upwind drive, and great lift. An all around kite in every way.
