Hydrofoil Parts and Hardware

New for 2020 is the full carbon, low profile FoilMount 3.0 Carbon.

This compressed carbon plate is not only beautiful it is also incredibly strong allowing it to be thinner than the original FoilMount.  This setup weighs just over 1lb so it is also about 30% lighter than previous models.  The new curved shape along with its light weight and thinner profile make it incredibly low drag in the water.  You cannot tell there is a track mounted on the bottom of your board while using it without a hydrofoil.  We have also upgraded the included hardware.  Because this system is so thin, we had to invent a new hardware set that would work with any base plate on the market called the Wizardhat Hardware.  Each FoilMount 3.0 Carbon includes a set of 4 Wizardhat hardware and they will allow you to attach any hydrofoil on the market to your FoilMount.  

Wizardhat Hardware Set

This is the Wizardhat hardware set.  If you just need some extra hardware

This hardware set will work with any base plate or 4-bolt tracked board on the market.  This included M8 or M6 base plates and tracks.  There is no more need for T-nuts or different sized bolts the Wizardhat will work on any.  Also, the way the bolt sticks up through the track on top makes it easy to line up with the base plate.

The Wizardhat hardware only set comes with 4 qty Wizardhat hardware (includes cone nut, t-bolt, and t-slider with a decal.  

*Be careful not to over- tighten with the wrench as you will have a lot more leverage than the screwdrivers you have been using.

M8 Hydrofoil Track Stainless Steel T-Nuts

These are low profile replacement M8 Stainless Steel T-nuts for any hydrofoil that uses the M8 T-nut, which just about all Tracked hydrofoils.  These are low profile meaning they are thinner than stock brass T-nuts by about 2.2mm from top to bottom but STRONGER.

M8 Hydrofoil Track Brass T-Nuts

Extra brass T-nuts for your tracked hydrofoil.  These are salt water approved and perfect for all track systems.  They are M8 standard metric threads which is the convention for most hydrofoil tracks.

Sonar Stabilizer Shim Kit

The rear Stabilizers' main role is to maintain a level and stable flight path. But conditions and user preference may change what stabilizer angle feels the best (aka the sweet spot). Shimming changes the angle of attack (AOA) and controls the amount of downforce the stabilizer creates on the overall foil system - to increase the stabilizer AOA and front foot pressure, add positive shim. The smallest tweak in the AOA can improve comfort, reduce fatigue, change the cadence of your pump or the turning radius of your carve and increase/decrease your front and rear foot pressure without changing your foot position. With the Sonar Shim Kit you can stack multiple shims, from our base setting it covers from -0.5 to +2.5 degrees. Finetune the way your foil system performs and change the way you ride. You're in control.
